Halloween Nail Art 2015

Halloween is one of my favourite times of the year... especially for nail art! I haven't had much time for nail art recently as I have been working two jobs, seven days a week - not surprisingly it takes up a lot of time and energy. I have managed to do a few Halloween themed nail art designs... up you like them!

Zombie graveyard! I used "Snugglebutt" by Pretty Serious with a slight gradient using "Twinkle" by Picture Polish. I then used "Absence" by Pretty Serious and Qgirl-002 stamping plate.

Gorgeous, glittering, holographic blood dripping down fresh, clean white walls. What is Halloween with out blood? I used the amazing "Vampire's Chalice" by Powder Perfect with "Presence" by Pretty Serious.

One of my favorites this year, cute little pumpkins. I used "I Do Believe In Spooks" by Miss Priss Polish for the base, then I used "Goblins & Ghouls" by Miss Priss Polish to place glitter around the edges of my nails. The adorable little pumpkin nail vinyls are from Eat Sleep Polish.

More pumpkin nails! I used "This Is Halloween" by Miss Priss Polish for the base, then the little pumpkin faces are also from Eat Sleep Polish.

Happy Halloween everyone!

Pet Names Collection by Pretty Serious

Amazing creme polishes by Pretty Serious. Over all these polishes are fantastic. They did vary a bit in formula and consistency, but for the most part each polish is an easy two coater.

"Stud Muffin" - A flawless red polish. This one was almost a one coater, but two coats resulted in a fully opaque finish. It was even glossy with out a top coat. Pictured is two coat with no top coat.

Lighting: In light box

"Honey Puff" - I am really impressed with the creamy yellow. Pictured is two coats with no top coat.

"Snugglebutt" - I love this amazing purple! Pictured is two coats with no top coat.

"Sugar Cakes" - This is such a bright, candy pink polish. This polish had the thickest formula out of the collection and was the only one to dry matte due to its neon qualities. Pictured is two coats with a glossy top coat on my middle and little finger. My pointer and ring finger were left to dry naturally. It is hard to tell with the lighting from the light box.

"Pookie" - Loving this aqua blue! One of my favourites in colour and formula. I found this one to be slightly more on the crelly side, but still very creamy. Pictured is two coats, with no top coat.

"Cuddle Bunny" - A soft lavender creme. This is the only polish from the collection that had a soft shimmer to it. Amazing formula on this polish. Pictured is two coats with no top coat.

Water Marble using "Snugglebutt" "Sugar Cakes" and "Pookie."  I had a feeling that these polishes would marble really well.  "Sugar Cakes" didn't work too well. It didn't spread like I would have wanted it to.

Tile nail art using "Pookie" and "Cuddle Bunny."  These beautiful opaque polishes worked brilliantly for nail art.

Gradient using "Stud Muffin" and "Honey Puff." I haven't done a gradient is a long time, but these polishes worked beautifully!

Well meaning but ultimately quite awkward pet names... Now available from Pretty Serious.

Along with the Pet Names Collection, I was also sent Absence and Presence. The perfect partners for all different types of nail art. The black polish water marbled quite well, but the white didn't spread as well. They should also be good for stamping, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

"Presence" - A flawless white polish. I found the first coat to be completely opaque, but because I like to use thin coats the first coat was just a little bit patchy. I found the second coat gave a nice smooth glossy finish. Pictured is two coats with no top coat.

"Absence" - A flawless black polish. Perfect one coater!

Halloween Duo by Powder Perfect

The Powder Perfect Halloween Duo is a collaboration with Mei Mei's Signatures. These shades are limited edition, and I personally highly recommend them. The colours in this duo are just amazing and the formulas are perfect.

"Vampire's Chalice" - A deep, sensual red holographic polish. New favourite red holo alert! I love this shade, well because it is a red holo, but the shade of red is just flawless. It is a deep red, but without being too dark. I can easily see myself wearing this as an every day colour... and hopefully some nail art in the future!

"Venomous Serum" -  A electric blue holographic base with red microglitters annd bright blue flakies. The way that the red microglitters shimmer and shine through the blue is stunning, and like nothing I have ever seen before in a polish. It is easy to say that I fell in love with this polish at first sight!

Post Apocalyptic Princess by Pretty Serious

The Post Apocalyptic Princess Collection by Pretty Serious has some serious personality! The six piece collection has a variety of finishes, including metallics, shimmers, and a glitter topper.

"Badlands Bandit" - A bold metallic blue. Being a metallic polish when applying it does leave a bit of a streaky brush mark, but I found that if you applied the polish slowly and carefully, with even application you could limit the amount of brush lines left behind.

"Cherry Zoo"- A dark metallic red. Being a metallic polish when applying it does leave a bit of a streaky brush mark, but I found that if you applied the polish slowly and carefully, with even application you could limit the amount of brush lines left behind.

"Gluteus Equine" - A polish topper with rainbow opal flakies, iridescent blue glass flecks, micro holo glitter, and holographic diamonds. Pure awesome in a bottle! I did have to do some fishing for the diamonds, but not too bad.

"Nuke The Fridge" - A metallic olive green with a slight gold/bronze shimmer. Having a slight metallic finish, when applying it does leave a bit of a streaky brush mark, but I found that if you applied the polish slowly and carefully, with even application you could limit the amount of brush lines left behind.

"Toxic Tiara" - A sparkling dusty pink with a strong golden shimmer. The golden shimmer was my favourite part about this polish, it gave it a real kick.

"Frogtown" - An amazing jade green creme with a subtle shimmer. A personal favourite from the collection. Overall application was creamy and smooth, it did leave some brush lines, but once it dried it wasn't noticeable.
